Fig jam is such an amazing condiment because it goes well with virtually all cheese, and this is a really fun way to literally spice it up. Mix it with a bit of Calabrian chili paste (or your favorite hot sauce/spread) to give it a bit of a kick, and a squeeze of lemon juice brightens it up. This would be great served on its own with a cheese board, but I really love it on these crostini. Use any soft cheese you like - even a dollop of good quality ricotta would be fantastic - but there's something about rich and creamy brie cheese that is especially delicious with it! P.S. you can use any fig jam for this recipe, but I particularly love how Agrimontana fig jam isn't full of seeds like many can be.
