This listing includes 1) Dress: all-in-one bodice/peplum/overskirt 2) contrasting underskirt 3) cotton petticoat 4) bum roll 5) belt or bodice trim Available in a variety of colors and fabrics. The first picture has a longer hip flounce/peplum than the Hamilton version, and cream colored bodice front and petticoat, but it can be done a million ways. The others are similar Overdress/underskirt anglaise gowns for about the same price. We are happy to make any style/fit/fabric changes you like. With slight changes, it can look just like Angelica's "Satisfied" dress, or Eliza's wedding dress from Hamilton. If you already have a bum roll and petticoat, we can give you a $115 discount. The overdress/bodice is heavily boned, but is not as structured as a period corset. The contrasting underskirt is extremely full and closes at the waist with a hook. All pieces are made in a pet free, smoke free commercial costume shop by highly experienced stitchers. We have made hundteds of period gowns - this is not a wear-it-once Halloween costume. We custom make all our patterns to fit your body. Because of this, we will be sending you a measurement list. We will also need to send a cotton mock-up of the more fitted pieces for you to try on and send back for the best possible fit. If you already have a bum roll/petticoat, we can adjust the price accordingly. We can also sell the individual pieces separately. This is a very complicated ensemble, so please contact us with questions. Most customers choose silk because it looks so elegant, and comes in a wide variety of colors. If you choose poly satin, it will be shinier, and we will have a much more limited color choice. Some of the pictures are slightly different. All have the same basic structure. We can add more trim, different peplum/overskirt shapes, etc, at an additional cost. Contact us before ordering if you want more trim than the basic front/neckline embellishment (adding skirt trim costs extra).
