The beetle mosaic is finished! ...a present for my Dad who moved to a retirement home last year. It‘s a rose chafer, his favourite kind of beetle. A lot of the beetle is mirror and iridescent glass, so it glitters as you move your head - and is impossible to photograph 😁 19 by 23 cm on MDF substrate, painted grout lines.
