Good Sunday morning all! It's a double day of baby shadow box cards, one for the girls and one for the boys! Both cards today have been made with the New Arrival Shadow box die set. For the girl card, I used two shades of pink and coconut white card. I embossed a piece of pale pink card with the Twinkle Twinkle embossing folder for texture to the background. I cut the shadow box in white and added mounting foam to the back to raise it and create the boxes. I attached it the the embossed background. Using the Scalloped Lattice Frames set B, I cut a multilayered frame using both light and darker pink card and glued them on top of the shadow box. I used the rattle and little footprints from the Little Treasures set to fill in some of the cubbies and the bottle and baby blocks from the shadow box set for a couple more boxes. The It's a girl set for the largest opening. I added a small flower from the Exquisite Poppy set which I sugared it Iced Snow and seated it on a satin ribbon bow. White mats and layers were added to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size. Scroll down for card number two. Card number two is all blue for the boys. It has the same sort of format, but I used the Dot Matrix embossing folder for texture on this one in the background. I added the baby blocks in blue in the smallest openings. The rattle and bottle were used again with white accents added. For the largest opening, I used the word "Baby" from the shadow box but added the word Boy which I cut from the It's A Boy sentiment die. I used a dark blue to shadow both words and used the same dark blue as a frame around the shadow box. The buttons were added to the bottom corner as an accent. White, sky blue and dark blue mats and layers were added to complete this card. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8" in size. I hope you have enjoyed both cards today!
