Spacelander Bike 1946.Having connections in the car industry also lead to the prototype for the exhibit, that was hand-made by the MG Auto Company. It took until 1960 before the Spacelander went in production though. Together with Bomar Industries, Mr. Bowden changed the original aluminum body into fiberglass and added a built-in headlight and taillight.
