This project was a long time in the making really. I couldn't decide what to do with the lovely pastel cottons I ordered a while back. I decided to partly work from the wonderful Solgrim's 'Flowers in the snow' pattern, following the first 3 rounds of her excellent tutorial :) Then doing my own variation on the 4th round, slip-stitching each block together to make a front panel of 28 blocks. I then remembered I had an old sweater in the cupboard that was never going to be worn again, so I decided to recycle it, using it for the reverse of the cushion. It's an exact colour match for the pink in the front which was a happy coincidence :) I hand stitched it to the crochet, which gave a lovely neat seam. I then did a side button edge, finishing it off with 3 pretty pale blue buttons. hookandbake.blogspot.co.uk/
