Chapman's Blazing Star Liatris Chapmanii The native areas of our farm have patches of deep purple Chapman's Blazing Star Liatris flowering all over in the Fall. The large bumble bees and orange butterflies LOVE this plant! The Gulf Fritaillary's create mini swarms around the patches. We also have the Bluffs Gayfeather Liatris seed available. The Chapman's Blazing star starts off the fall season and on the day (I mean the exact day) they stop, the Bluffs Gayfeather starts blooming. The butterflies just move over to the Bluffs and have a ball!
