A 11x14 inch art print of the ancient Aztec gods of life and death, Mictlantecuhtli and Quetzalcoatl as depicted in the codex Borgia. They are standing opposite one another to show their contrary nature, on top an inverted skull that represents the land of the dead. It's not an exact duplicate to the codex painting, I put allot of extra shading in to make the figures stand out better. The art is printed in excellent quality on a handmade paper. The paper is a natural light tan color and has a nice texture and fiber inclusions that gives the prints a very unique vintage look. It's very similar to the bark fiber paper used by the ancient Aztecs.
