The Pinakothek der Moderne is the modern art museum in Munich - I visited it on a rainy Sunday in October 2009 (only one Euro on Sundays). Modern art museums always leave me wondering what I'm looking at - such as if something is an exhibit, unfinished construction, or the work of a six year old. What I really like is to walk by while people are discussing what the artist was trying to convey - my guess is the artist is sunning on some tropical island with all the cash he/she was paid for the painting. With that said, this is still a pretty interesting museum - especially on a rainy day!
