'Moonlight' Open edition digital print To summarise: ✦ Available as an A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) sized print ✦ Digital print on 200 gsm cardstock (FSC certified), signed by the artist ✦ Slightly glossy finish ✦ No frame included, stock photo mock-ups are examples only ✦ Printed with love in the UK Bats seem to get a bit of a bad reputation and are often regarded as a symbol of death and evil, but some cultures also associate them with rebirth and family ties. We often take for granted how amazing the ability to fly is and how nature has found a way to defy gravity, hence the emphasis on the wings of the bat in this piece. I wanted to bring light to this beauty and wonder in nature that we often overlook and in a way that bats don’t often get portrayed in. It is important to consider the strain on the environment that our activities have, and the production and packaging of these prints have been planned out to minimise environmental impact as much as possible. The 200 gsm cardstock used for the prints has been FSC certified, meaning it has been sourced from sustainably harvested wood, and the envelopes used for delivery are made from recycled paper. The prints are open-edition, and are sized at A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) size. The print has a slightly glossy finish but will appear mostly matte. The mock-up photos for each print are for illustrative purposes only and it should be kept in mind that any props/frames in these do not come with the print. The prints will be unframed when they are sent to you. The prints will be sent off flat in envelopes and will be heavily protected in order to ensure that they arrive with you in the same condition that they were posted off in: ✦ A thick piece of card will be placed in with the prints to prevent them bending ✦ The prints will be kept in a plastic wallet/cellophane bag to protect against water damage ✦ Special corner covers will be placed on each corner so that they don't get damaged in transit ✦ The packages will be marked as fragile ('Do not bend') so that they are treated with care during the transport process All the internal packaging is handmade from second-hand and sustainably sourced paper, card and plastic. In the event that the protection on the product is not sufficient, refunds are available for damaged products, and replacements will be sent for lost items. See the shop policies for more details on this. Colours in the final product may come out slightly different to what you see due to monitor colour differences.
