The “Flip The Frog’s Face” Life Cycle craft is a quick, easy and fun “print and go” lesson, which helps reinforce the life cycle of a frog. Choose either the realistic frog life cycle graphics, or the cutesy ones, or give your students a choice. I’ve included picture pages without text, should you want your students to label and write out a description of their own, as well as completely blank “tongue pages” if you also want them to draw their own graphics. They color, cut, fold on the dashed line putting the pages in correct order, then glue them to the base of the frog and add the head afterwards. Simply run the head and body patterns off on light green construction paper. Children trim and add some pizzazz with crayons. Teacher Comments: “Fantastic time saving resource!” “My Kinders loved this craft! They were just adorable on display!” “My first graders had a lot of fun creating their frogs and learning about the frog life cycle.” "This activity was very simple to use, but it was a perfect opportunity for my students to create a tangible item after learning the life cycle of a frog.” As an incentive, if I catch my kiddos hard at work, they earn 2 pink or red heart stickers to place on their frog’s face. Review the stages of the frog’s life cycle with your sample. I’ve included templates in full color so you can quickly make one. When everyone is done, read the pages together as a whole group. I’m Diane from Teach With Me, hoping your students enjoy practicing the life cycle of a frog by flipping his face. For more Frog activities click here.
