This beautiful teapot was made by Thomas C. Wild & Sons Ltd. under the Trade Name “Royal Albert” at the Albert Works or the St. Mary's Works, both in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England c.1935-45. In has eight lobes spreading out and down from the collar, a flat flower knob and an oval 10-hole strainer. It is decorated in the “Blossom Time” pattern, Rd. No. 799933 for 1935, consisting of a lovely scenic view of pink blossoming trees on a grassy slope. it bears the dark pink c.1935-45 mark where the crown has the words 'Royal Albert" above, "Bone" and "China" on either side and England below. It also has "Blossom Time" in green below England and the red Reg. No. below that. It is 5½" tall, 6½" in diameter and 9¼" handle to spout.
