Beautiful Shirwan Kuba of the Zeijwa type, decorated with two large blue medallions that detach from the white background full of symbols, completely decorated up to the borders. The ornament is very similar to that of the eagle Kasak. The carpet is in excellent condition. the edges and fringes are the original ones. On the upper left side appears a number (1335) written from left to right more clearly you can read on the reverse of the carpet. It is very likely that it is a date in the Arab calendar that starts from Hegira, that is, from 622 AD. The Islamic lunar year is also 11 days shorter than our solar year so 1335 corresponds to 1917, which is the probable date of the carpet bill. less
