A painting from Chloe's "Excessivism" series where she explores the excessive use of paint to express her feelings about the current state of the world. The works are pure abstraction and usually employ bright colors used in the commercial world. Brush strokes are impulsive and are left unaltered to capture her mood at the time of making. ""Excessivism" is a reflection, examination, or investigation of every aspect of life in excessive state with particular consideration to the areas that have real and consequential effect on the members of the society. Subject areas are, but not limited to, economics, politics and psychology. In the area of economics it is a commentary on economic materialism. It reflects, examines and investigates the excessive desire to acquire material goods beyond one's needs and often means. "Excessivism" depicts the excessive use of resources in an exaggerated way, by means of two- or three-dimensional visual creations, written or spoken words, or in any other manner. It aims at a reflection, examination, or investigation of the capitalist system, devoid of aesthetic, legal, commercial, ethical, moral, racial, or religious considerations." --Wikipedia less
The Hand-Dyed Indigo Canvas Noasobi Tote Large is a lightweight, durable everyday bag in a limited and exclusive indigo colorway. The bag is made of 100% cotton canvas and is hand-dyed. It features two handles, an external pocket, an internal pocket, and a structured flat base. All items have been laundered to remove the excess indigo dye, but some indigo crocking may appear on hands or light-colored cloth when new, as is natural with indigo-dyed items. To clean, simply use light soap and warm water and let air dry. This product was dyed using Vibrant Valley Blue, an indigo dye grown on Oregon's Sauvie Island by Vibrant Valley Farms. The farm is committed to slow textile production processes and sustainable stewardship of their land. Please note: due to the processing techniques used, some dye transfer may occur. The Hand-Dyed Indigo Canvas Noasobi Tote Large quantities are limited and will not be restocked.
Varieties do not need pruning and may be grown with or without support; fruit ripens within a concentrated time period. INDETERMINATE (Climbing): Varieties should be staked, trellised, or caged, and pruned for best results; fruit ripens over an extended period. CULTURE: Medium-rich soil with pH 6.0–6.8 preferred. Fertilize accurately since excess nitrogen causes rampant growth, rot, and delayed ripening. For short determinates, succession-plant every 4–6 weeks. Tomatoes typically germinate in 5–7 days. TRANSPLANTING: Don't start too early—leggy, root-bound, or flowering transplants can cause stunting and reduce early production. About 5–6 weeks before transplanting, sow 1/4" deep in 20-row flats with 20 seeds/row, or in 200-cell trays with 1 seed/cell; lightly cover. Keep mix at 75–85°F (24–29°C) with moderate moisture. At first true leaf, pot-up to 50-cell trays or 4" pots, depending on expected transplant timing. Grow at constant 60–70°F (16–21°C) temp and use complete fertilizer until hardened-off. Supplemental lights and lower night temps control stretching. For earliest crop, plant under row cover around last frost date. Avoid exposing unprotected plants to consecutive nightly temperatures below 45°F (7°C). In rows 4–6' apart, space determinates 12–24" and indeterminates 24–36". Plant deeply to encourage adventitious rooting. Water seedlings with a high-phosphate fertilizer solution at planting to help boost early yields. TRELLISING: Basket-weave by pounding 5–6' stakes every 2–3 plants, using heavier t-posts intermittently and at ends of beds. For tall indeterminates, consider short extensions or pruning once they outgrow a manageable size for easy harvest.

If using a washing machine please select gentle wash function with cold water. Please air-dry in a shaded area. Iron on low temperature. Although we wash each textile multiple times before shipping to remove excess dye particles there is still a possibility of colour transference occurring (during harsh rubbing or other close/vigorous interactions). During the first few washes some brown or yellow pigment may appear in the water. This is normal and is a chemical compound characteristic of our indigo dye. Periodically removing this excess pigment will leave colours more vivid than before. Shipping It will be delivered in 10-12 days.
