Chinese DeHua porcelain seated Kuan Yin with sceptre, clothed in flowing robes, tiara and necklace, on a lotus throne atop a Ru Yi bordered plinth, holding a cloud headed Ru Yi sceptre in her left hand, displaying the Karana mudra with her right hand. Exquisite fine realistic detail through out, down to Kuan Yin's fingernails. Chinese character in Cao Shu script on the back above Chao Zong and DeHua marks. Circa late 19th century, no later than early 20th. less
