Over the last few months I have been sharing with you various topics from T-Mobile and how they are so involved in our communities. It’s been an honor to be an ambassador for the company. You will see what I mean further down in this post that they really do go the extra mile for the community. Yes, they are a business, but they really care, and I’m proud to with them. You can tell this from them helping our youth with the Changemakers, to Giving Tuesdays and also protecting everyone against spam/fraud callers (saving millions of dollars). I wanted to share one last topic with you. This one is just as important, it’s about the men and women in our country that protect us 24 hours a day. T-Mobile wanted to honor the first responders in a way they could, and well, let me show you what they did and what my youngest Fallon and I decided to do for the ones in our town. First what is a first responder and what can you do? Do you only think of fire fighters or an EMS worker? It really goes beyond that. It can be a police officer or even military. Before I get into the amazing work that T-Mobile does, I wanted to share with you what Fallon and I decided to do. My brother is a retired Marine, but he lives too far away for us to honor him for this so, Fallon and I decided to do something special for our local police department. We both love to bake cookies and since Christmas was not too long-ago Peanut Butter Blossoms were still on the brain for the little one. So, Peanut Butter Blossoms it was. Not only did we do that, we also cut up some cheese and sausage, I mean we live in WI, we have to represent the cheese state. Once everything was ready, we took the treats down to the police station and delivered to the officers. Fallon was so excited to give the goodies to the officers. She worked really hard at rolling the dough and even put some of the chocolate onto the cookies. Cookies along with cheese and sausage may not in the grand scheme mean a whole lot, but it shows out officers that we have their backs. They risk their lives for us each and every day and we wanted to do just a tiny little thing to show them that we care and appreciate all that they do for us day in and day out. T-Mobile’s big news for First Responders Just recently (October to be exact) T-Mobile launched an incredible discount plan for first responders. These plans really show that T-Mobile really cares about our first responders and wants to say ‘thank you’ to all those who are serving us every day. I’m not talking about a $20 savings, with a family plan you save 50% (up to 5 addition voice lines) with Magenta First Responder. That’s just the start. In addition to the 50% with Magenta First Responder, our country’s state and local law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel, and the small businesses they own can get 20% off the first line. It’s just $100 per month with AutoPay for a family of four with taxes and fees included. Talk about saving money! A family of 4 fan save up to $750 a year or more as the Un-carrier includes monthly taxes and fees compared to Verizon first responder plans. T-Mobile Magenta First Responder also includes Netflix on Us. That is a huge savings, I know as who doesn’t love a good Netflix binge? Every Tuesday T-Mobile has Freebies and huge discounts so you need to watch out for those, you never know what will pop up. If you qualify, and are fire fighter, police, Military, veterans and their family or EMS worker, go to to https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/first-responder-discounts and get your savings. Put that extra money back into your pocket. I also think it’s amazing that T-Mobile has done this for the country but also, forced AT&T and Verizon to respond and create a wave of change to that has saved military families more than a billion, yes a BILLION dollars a year. How amazing is that? Seeing all that T-Mobile does, day in and day out for their customers and community members is really motivating. It shows me that a company is devoted to more than just numbers. That there is more to life than that. Please like us on facebook so you can get updates, new giveaway listings, and more Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by T-Mobile.
