This design is on one of Quilt Mania bags and I have marveled over it ever since I first saw it. Many of her beautiful designs have a center medallion. The majority of her designs revolve around wonderful muted fabrics.... However their are exceptions! Her fabric selection is amazing. I have a pattern which I made years ago which has uses this block. Its in the pattern called, Made From Grandmas Aprons. It is out of thirties so it had a way different look. Stunning!
