This tea set including teapot, covered sugar, creamer, teacup and saucer, was made by W.T. Copeland & Sons at the Spode Works, Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent, England c.1952-75. They are round in shape with simple loop handles and a 9-hole diamond shape strainer. They have sprays of molded flowers, and the knobs are hand applied 5-petal flowers. All the molded decoration is a lovely light blue, Replacements calls it “Geisha Light Blue” but “Blanche de Chine” is printed above the mark. It bears the W.T. Copeland 1891+ mark. The teapot is 5½” tall, 5½” in diameter and 10½” handle to spout. The sugar is 4” tall, 5½” in diameter and 6” handle to handle. The creamer is 3¼” tall, 4¼” in diameter and 4½” handle to spout. The cup is 2⅝” tall and 3⅝” in diameter. The saucer is 5⅝” in diameter.
