This large earthenware teapot was manufactured by Gibson & Sons, Ltd. in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England, c.1923+. It’s round tapering out from the flat shoulder and very sharply in at the bottom and has a 7-hole circular strainer. It is hand painted in pattern no. 7265 of a red flowers with blue leaves amongst the green grass. It is impressed with a “G” surrounding an “S” mark over “ENGLAND” and the shape Rd. No. 702601 for 1923. It also and has the pattern no. It is 5⅛" tall, 6⅝" in diameter, 9" from handle to spout and holds 5 to 6 cups.
