It's been a very festive holiday season here at Easton Place Designs. I thought it would be fun to show you some menorahs my youngest son made (with a little tiny help from his Mama). All of the materials were purchased at Home Depot except for the glue-gun which was purchased at a craft shop. We started with... Stones, tiles and glass backsplash pieces. Regular metal nuts. Step one is to take the stones and tiles off their mesh backing removing as much of the adhesive as possible. Next, layout your design on the base plate to make sure things will fit properly. Once you're happy with the design, remove items from your base plate and start adhering the nuts to the "rocks" and square tiles and rebuilding your design, gluing/adhering each piece. The only part I helped my son with was affixing the thinner glass piece to the larger glass base piece. For this I used super glue. All other pieces were fastened using either the hot glue gun or "Strongstik" by Dap. Here are the final menorahs... Happy Hanukkah! Wishing you all a very happy and festive holiday!
