You’ve probably noticed that December has been inspiring me to make more rich and traditional recipes. It’s probably because the cold weather makes me crave meals that warm up my insides. I polled my close friends and decided to create a hot turkey sandwich recipe. I had no idea what I was getting myself into… To give you an idea, here’s a list of the contradictory advice I got from my (difficult) friends: “Make it with peas. “ “Without peas, Marilou, or I’ll never talk to you again. “ “Find a way to keep the bread from soaking through after two minutes. “ “Find a good sauce recipe that soaks into the bread like it’s supposed to. “ “If your recipe calls for a can of St-Hubert sauce, I’m in! “ So basically, I knew from the start that I wouldn’t be able to make everyone happy. But I tried to come up with a simple recipe you can modify to your liking. 🙂
