Project for German 1 students learning about family members. ZIP file includes student directions, rubric, and Power Point to introduce the project. Start with the Power Point - describe the family in German (don't show it to them) and have students draw the family tree (feel free to change it to include youself instead of me!). Then introduce the project and give students the handout. After they finish the project; as a speaking activity you can have students present their celebrity families to each other. Designed to go with Deutsch Aktuell 1, Kapitel 2A, but can easily go along with any text discussing Familie.
