On our way to a very small village Bulunkul, we left the Pamir Highway to enter an even more remote area. No trees, hardly any water and two lonely cyclists. One of them is projected here against the colorful Pamir mountains. This was part of our 3-month cycling trip through Kazachstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and China.
