Here are two masks by Canadian artist, Willie Seaweed, on display at Detroit Institute of Arts. The DIA has undergone quite an amazing transformation. Fading elegance has been buffed to a high gloss, pieces I haven't seen since childhood are back on display, and the groupings are quite revolutionary for an old staid museum.
