All you need is: 115g Unsalted butter, melted & cooled slightly 150g Light brown sugar 115g Granulated sugar 1 Large egg, room temperature 1 tsp Vanilla extract 180g Plain flour 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda 1 tsp Salt (use 1/2 if you prefer) 200g Chocolate chips (I used dark) + more for the top Optional: flaky sea salt Bake 180C/(160C fan) 8-10 mins Makes 12-13 cookies π Chill the dough for at least 1 hour before rolling into balls. If you chill it for longer or overnight, leave the dough soften at room temperature until itβs easier to scoop into balls π Use a large baking sheet / cookie sheet and place the balls at least 4 inches apart, they will spread when they bake and you donβt want them to touch (I cooked mine in batches of 6) π They should look puffy and underdone when they come
