#DYK the Irish flag was made by French women, sympathetic to the Irish cause! It was meant to symbolise peace between Irish Catholic Nationalists & Protestant Unionists. They presented it to Thomas Francis Meagher in 1848. Happy #BastilleDay! Liberté, égalité, fraternité ! 🇫🇷🇮🇪
