The foliage of the Curry Plant is very fragrant. It smells like the herb Murraye koenigii which is used in Indian cooking, but curry plant is not used much in cooking. It is sometimes chopped and mixed with cream cheese to use as a sandwich spread. But, medicinally, the essential oil can be used therapeutically to treat acne, psoriasis, sunburn, and inflamed skin.
