This double layer hot pad consists of two separate layers, each in a different crochet stitch pattern. The top layer is worked in a Puff Cluster pattern and the bottom layer is made in a Single Crochet pattern. The construction of the hot pad initially utilizes two strands of yarn held together and then the strands are separated to work up the layers individually. The two layers are then sewed together.
