Zoltan Hornyik is a Hungarian Impressionist Painter. He was born in Kemecse in 1960. His first maters were Borbála Fekete, János Kapcsa and Lajos Bíró. He graduated at the Teacher Training College of Nyíregyháza as a teacher of arts and geography in 1985. After a short career as a teacher he transferred into arts. Since then he has been working as a free-lance painter. He won a prize in graphic art in the art colony of Hajdúnánás in 1977. In 1987 he was awarded the special prize of the art camp of Mártély. His studio produces figurative oil paintings, landscapes, still lives as well as interiors. Exhibitions: Hajdúszoboszló, Nyíregyháza, Nyírbátor, Hódmezővásárhely, Japan, Canada, Germany, Holland, New York, Washington.
