Hello Everyone! Welcome to another challenge starting over at Try it on Tuesday. This time around our theme is another favourite of mine - PEARLS FOR GIRLS. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Here is my make. The background was made using a marbling technique with DecoArt Wild Rose and Cherry Blossom paints. Then I used a damask stencil from Prima and sponged on some Ranger Archival ink Rose Madder. I use the "Bump Technique" by taking the stencil, bumping it a little bit and then applying some home made texture paste. The chandelier stamp is from BoBunny, stamped with Ranger Archival ink Jet Black and then I used flat back pearls and pearl strings to create all the dangling parts of the chandelier. The tag is cut from Tim Holtz, the plain frame is Spellbinders and in keeping with my New Years resolution, I pulled out the never-before-used fancy frame from Joy Crafts. I'm so proud of myself for sticking to my resolution so far! The doily die is from Prima. the leaves were fussy cut out Inkadinkado stamps and the main flower image was fussy cut out from a Woodward stamp and coloured with Copics. I hope you can see the gorgeous lace underneath the flowers here. It is wrapped around the tag underneath the frame and it's so pretty in real life. The frame embellishment was made from crafter's clay, the mini chandelier is from Stampendous Charms, I added lots of seed beads and more pearls and glass beads. I am entering the following wonderful challenges: - Sweet Stamps Challenge Blog - #211 - Girly - Southern Girls Challenge - Get Your Girly On - Pile It On - Challenge #58 - Adhesive Embellishments - Sweet Stampin' - All or Nothing (One Layer or Lots of Layers) - I chose lots of layers of course! - Through The Craft Room Door - Mar 3-Mar 9 - Inky Chicks - Challenge #47 - Flowers That's it for today.
