I got tired of making the same block by this month, so I began with the wedge shaped blocks that will go between each of the square blocks to create the tree skirt. I will have several of these to make also and it will be nice to switch back and forth between the shapes. I chose to use all pinks in these blocks so they will become "background" and allow the squares around the outer edge be the star!
