Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site is located in southwestern Nova Scotia. More than 500 petroglyphs have been found on four different sites around Kejimkujik Lake and George Lake. These carvings created on slate mainly document Mi’kmaq lifestyle between the 17th and 19th centuries. Kejimkujik is situated on the traditional territory of this Indigenous nation.
