Dublin history book - Dublin: A Study in Environment by John Harvey is a 1st edition book published in 1949 by B T Batsford Ltd. The book gives an illustrated history of the capital city of Ireland and was praised by George Bernard Shaw who wrote, "I wish it had been available when I was a youth in Dublin. To me it is intensely interesting." It has blue hardback covers with gilt title to the spine and has the original publisher's dust cover which shows vintage images of Dublin. It also has over 160 illustrations showing the historic city.
