This is a Rotary Draw Tubing bender. It uses dies made by JD2 to bend tubing for roll bars and cages. It uses an air over hydraulic cylinder to bend the tube. Build Description The basic machine started with 1/2" plate and some bar stock. There are four plates with multiple 3/4" holes drilled. I used a plasma to cut the plates into the basic shape and then put the pieces into a mill to drill the holes in the proper place. A lathe was used to cut the 4140 steel pins that hold the bender together. A stand was made out of 4x2 steel tubing and the legs were bent out of 1 3/4" tubing using this exact bender.
