A fine, if slightly fussy, design for the 1922 tours brochure covering the steamer and 'bus routes run by the famous MacBrayne's company. The artwork pushes the Scottish connection and in fact rather dates back to the 'romantic' image of Scotland that the Victorians so loved. The type is also 'Celtic' in places. By the 1930s MacBraynes were to adopt a more rigorous graphic style.
