This Plant series are photographs taken from my garden, other people's gardens, nature strips, reserves, parks and anywhere really. The aim is to photograph mostly Australian Natives but I'm sure other beautiful plants will find their way into the mix over time. This one was photographed near my mum's home, in someone's front garden. I believe I have identified it as Grevillea Excelsior / Flame Grevillea, belonging to the Proteaceae family, (please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). The reason they are linked to my pinch river profile is because they will inevitably feed into my work at some stage in some way or another, but for now can just be enjoyed as images of beautiful plants that captured my attention and inspired my creativity...
