Stitches are increased every RS row. Garter stitch ‘ripples’ and cute bubbly stripes add interest and make this shawl an entertaining project. Optional tassels can be added last. Both the RS and the WS of the stripe pattern are very beautiful - weaving in the ends carefully, as invisibly as possible, will offer you the option to wear this shawl WS out too. Yarn Isager Trio (382 yds (349 m)/50g), 2 skeins or approximately (755 yds/690 m) in MC; shown in color Linen. 1 skein or approximately (306 yds/280 m) in CC; shown in color Frost. Gauge 21 sts x 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch with 1 strand of Trio and 1 strand of Spinni held together after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect yardage and final size when different.
