A Pre-Prohibition classic named after the Men’s Club of the same name. The club met at Philadelphia’s Bellevue-Stratford Hotel after it’s opening in 1904 There are a few different ways to make this drink, this spec is my personal favourite. But play around and look for one that suits you. I really enjoy the addition of a bit of vermouth as was present on some early specs. Behind the bar I much prefer making this one with a “homemade” raspberry syrup, for speed and consistency reasons.
