Ingrediënten: - 185 gram roomboter, op kamertemepratuur - 150 gram Mon Chou (roomkaas), op kamertemperatuur - geraspte schil van 2 citroenen - 250 gram kristalsuiker - 3 grote eieren - 140 gram zelfrijzend bakmeel - 90 gram patentbloem - 175 gram gedroogde cranberries - poedersuiker om mee te bestrooien Bereiden: 1. Verwarm de oven voor op 160' C boven-en onderwarmte en vet de tulband goed in en strooi wat bloem op de wanden, schud het teveel eruit. 2. Mix boter, roomkaas en geraspte citroenschil met mixer door elkaar. Voeg de suiker toe en mix ca 5 minuten tot een licht en luchtig mengsel. Voeg de eieren één voor één toe. Volgende ei pas toevoegen als het vorige ei geheel is opgenomen. 3. Zeef het zelfrijzend bakmeel en de patentbloem boven het botermengsel en spatel er voorzichtig door. Schep er vervolgens de cranberries door. 4. Schep het beslag in de ingevette tulbandvorm en strijk de bovenkant glad. Bak de cake in het midden van de oven in 55 - 65 minuten gaar. Dek de bovenkant met aluminiumfolie af als de cake te bruin wordt. De cake is gaar als een in het midden gestoken prikker er droog en schoon uitkomt. Houd het goed in de gaten, want het is zonde als de cake te droog wordt. 5. Laat de cake 20 minuten in de vorm afkoelen en stort dan op een rooster. Laat volledig afkoelen. Voor het opdienen bestrooien met poedersuiker. Bron: "Taste.com" via Levine Deze héérlijke tulband heb ik een paar jaar geleden ook al eens gemaakt en op mijn blog geplaatst, maar omdat het zo'n lekker recept is, heb ik de tulband nog een keer gemaakt met een nieuwe foto. In het originele recept gaan verse cranberries (1 cup, bevroren), maar in deze versie zitten gedroogde. Misschien niet echt een recept voor de zomer, maar zo'n tulband smaakt altijd wel bij de koffie of thee.
