One of the most distinctive features of a dog is his tail. Dog tails can be long or short, fluffy or silky, curved or straight, thick or thin. But no matter what the tail looks like, the thing that doesn't change is that dogs have them (yes, even if they're docked). But why do dogs have tails and why do they wag them?
