Naniboujou Lodge, built in 1929 is on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally intended to be a private sportsman club, it boasted members such as Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey. Located 15 miles east of Grand Marais on Lake Superior, home cooking is served in the Cree Indian ornamented Great Hall wherein stands the majestic 200 ton stone fireplace. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and afternoon tea are available during our summer/fall season.
