Cockchafer / May bug (Melolontha melolontha, female) captured in flight some years ago. This year they are already back again in Central Europe :) Taken with Canon 350D camera, MP-E 65mm lens and Pentax 1.7x converter (used as wide-angle adapter). See also the MALE PHOTO for comparison.
