Firstly, we'll explore the name behind this new range. Qube may seem a little odd to call a greenhouse, but the reason behind it is to do with the frame. The main structural framework uses 'cubed' style beams, which are extremely strong and allow for an overall low-profile look with easier installation, especially when it comes to the glazing. Talking of glazing, each Qube greenhouse is supplied as standard with toughened safety glass. Each pane is 3mm thick and supplied in long sections which generally cover the full height of each wall or roof section, instead of having lots of smaller panes as used in other glazing types. As standard, you'll find bar capping for the glazing which helps to keep the glazing panes in place and also offers a more streamline design. A padlockable easy slide door with low threshold access, which means that there's no need to step over the base frame when walking inside. This 6 ft by 6 ft model also includes a roof vent and wide gutters on both sides, which can be connected to optional downpipes so that rainwater can be captured into a water butt to use later when watering plants.
