Corner tower of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii; the hotel is known as the Pink Palace of the Pacific. The first time I visited Hawaii, some thirty years ago, I had a view of this tower from my hotel next door. This Spanish/Moorish Revival style struck me as the classic style for grand resort hotels. I have also found this style elsewhere; see the image of the Vinoy Hotel in St Petersburg, Florida as another example. Tenuous Link: pink.
