This is a portrait of Michelle Obama as Rosie the Riveter. I love Michelle Obama, and I love the iconic picture of Rosie the Riveter, so it seemed appropriate to combine the two. Rosie was the symbol of women doing what needed to be done in a time of need, of women stepping up to plate and proving that they are more than capable of doing anything and everything a man can do, both in the workplace and at home. Michelle exemplifies what it is to be strong, smart, hardworking, and gracious. She was the perfect first lady, and to be honest, I think she'd make a fantastic president! (Too bad she has no interest in a political career - she would have had my vote all day, every day!) This portrait is available in 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 sizes. All of my prints are printed at a local print shop on 80 Lb bond paper. Please understand that my local print shop needs three business days turn around time on all orders, so it will be three to five days from the time you place your order, until I am able to pick it up and ship it to you.
