Made by Library Bureau Sole Makers. Solid quartersawn oak with original brass hardware. Quality construction, a solid heavy duty piece. 16 drawers, all the same size, all function smoothly. Paneling on sides and back. Original weathered and worn finish. Partial slant top. Useful and displays beautifully. 64 3/8" long | 28 1/8" wide | Slant top is 49 1/2 tall in front and 52 1/4" tall in back Drawer interiors measure - 24" long, front to back | 12" wide | Drawer walls are 5 3/4" tall but total drawer clearance is 10 1/8" CONDITION Good condition overall. Normal wear and tear from decades of use. Scuffs, scratches, nicks, dings, edge wear, discoloration and staining, few small spots of white paint splatter, etc. Previous mends and repairs evident. Several drawers show repairs made over the years, glue, additional nails along front and sides, etc. All drawers are fully functional and slide well. All drawers are missing the little brass rod, does not affect function. A few of the drawer bottoms have splits or separation in wood, all are secure in place and usable. The bottom row of drawers are missing the drawer stops, does not affect drawer function. There are several spots, mainly along back, were the glossy finish is worn matte, only visible from certain angles. Some large scratches in wood, along the top, back. (see pics).
