The model #500 mahogany desk designed by Alvar Aalto, made in Sweden for Artek, Finland. Six drawers with two pull-out work surface boards. A nice example of Aalto's clean modernist designs from the 1930's. Please note that this desk is not made in the usual light blond birch wood. It has a rich, dark honey color.
