Remember when I told you to save the orange cake from the Carrots in the Carrot Patch Cake? Today you're going to need it and if you didn't save the cake, you can't blame me. I tried to stop you from eating it. Really, I tried. This is why~ Carrot Cake Pops I thought we should make some carrot cake pops. Or I should say, carrot SHAPED cake pops because no real carrots were used. These were some of the easiest cake pops I've made, so let's get started... 1. Use the leftover orange cake from the Carrot Patch Cake. 2. Crumble the orange cake in a bowl. 3. Add a little orange frosting and mix together. 4. Using a cake pop mold, (tree shape) make your carrots. (If you don't have a mold, roll the cake into cone shapes between your fingers) 5. After you pop them out of the mold, gently shape the cake pop a little more like a carrot. 6. Dip in orange candy melts and immediately sprinkle with orange sanding sugar. 7. Using a snowflake plunger cutter, cut leaves out of green fondant. 8. Put a hole in the center using a round decorating tip. 9. Take a carrot and pipe orange candy melts around the stick. 10. Add the green leaf and you're finished. Almost finished. 11. If you want to add lines, drizzle or pipe candy melts across the carrots~ I'm so "EGG" cited to bring you more Easter sweets and treats! The Hunt Is On!...
