This it...the last act for the March Papertrey Ink Release. But before I get to the rest of my projects, I just wanted to say thank you for the overwhelmingly positive...and enthusiastic...response yesterday to the Coin Purse Dies. It makes me downright giddy to know that you are as excited about them as I am. Looks like coin purses are going to be made up all over by lots of very creative people. Which makes me happy. So thank you! Can't wait to see your creations. Be sure to post links to them on the message board so I can peek at your wonderful creations! For the rest of the release, I've got plenty of pretty projects to share. Putting Down Roots: Great concept by Lizzie. I did a little masking on one of the sentiments so I could use the One Liner Happy Dies. Wet Paint: I did a lot of coloring over ink with Copics to get this watercolor look. Pulled in Butterfly Dreams and stamped it in Fresh Snow ink to get an interesting background. Monthly Moments: March: Love that "Happy St. Pat's" sentiment. This was my first time using the Rainbow Stripes dies. Perfect for this card. Phrase Play 2: This whole series are going to be instant classics. So easy to make a great card. I experimented with using the 4 inch zipper die from the Coin Purse Dies to make this open spine with the Medium Scallop Border sticking out. Seasonal Stitches: Butterfly in vellum helps carry out the open dot theme. Gatsy Glamour and Cover Plate: Art Deco: Seriously the most beautiful stuff ever. I'll be using this set a lot I think. Just Smile: We got our dies a little late this month. But I wanted to get to work early with the stamps. Great things come from finding solutions:). I love the patterned paper I created with the flowers. The color combo on Soft Blush in particular. I'm always tickled to find good pairings of ink and colored cardstock. Birthday Classics: March and Journal Accessories: This is the second time in as many months that my Birthday Classics card has been put in the mail for somebody before the release is over. That's saying something about how great this series is going to be! I used the Journal Accessories and Copics to create that rainbow. Just experimenting. Thanks so much for joining me.
