GroupGSA was successful in the design competition for the Thornton North project. A residential development creating a unique and vibrant ‘easy living’ community focussed on supporting wellbeing, a healthy lifestyle, and true connection within the community. The development includes 178 units, 70% with cross ventilation and 70% solar access. 196 car spaces are also provided within the development. The siting of the buildings and their resultant form is largely shaped by maximising the views and solar orientation, and with engaging and integrating the communal garden and public realm with the developments directly adjacent.
